May 01 to May 02, 2025 / 8 pm Stabil Dance Company OVERTIME (world premiere) schwere reiter
Is there anybody out there? We’re in here, trying to break out. Waiting for the right moment, enduring another impact, wandering through the desert, shaking of what has been or what’s to come. 8 humans navigating through the co-existence of brutality and care, solitude and relationships. This performance is a moving snapshot of our time. OVERTIME.
Chris-Pascal Englund-Braun comes from Denmark and is a dancer, choreographer, actor and teacher. He completed his dance training at the Iwanson International of Contemporary Dance and shortly afterwards began choreographing and teaching directly. 2020/2021 he was a dancer at the Staatstheater Kassel under the direction of Johannes Wieland. He made his acting debut in 2022 in "Amsterdam" (Staatstheater Darmstadt). He has also performed and choreographed at the Stadttheater Ingolstadt, the Staatstheater Darmstadt and the Staatstheater Mainz. He has worked with Emma Evelein, Paula Rosolen, Alexander Nerlich, Sebastian Zuber, House of Pain Dance Company and Nordic Beasts. In Munich he has performed in productions by Johannes Härtl, Anima Henn, Cristina D' Alberto, Rosalie Wanka, Sophie Becker and Matteo Carvone, among others. His choreography "Overtime" won the audience award and the working grant from the HIER=JETZT 2024 platform. With the debut funding from the City of Munich, he is producing his first full-length piece, which will be shown as an "opening night" on May 1st and 2nd at the HIER=JETZT 2025 platform at schwere reiter.
