History of Tanztendenz
Commitment to contemporary dance

Since 1987, the choreographers' association Tanztendenz has been in existence as a unique community in Germany that supports, promotes and delights in contemporary dance.

Our mission
Fine Art Needs independance

It is our goal to aid this independence for Munich based freelance choreographers who work in the field of contemporary dance. We are doing this by furnishing rooms and providing a range of other support measures for their activities.

Public Relations
Information about the whole range of contemporary dance in the greater Munich area. This includes the quarterly publication of a dance calendar, where you can place advertising. [ advertising, PDF ]

Open Studios
In 2013, Tanztendenz began to offer newcomers once a year the possibility of using its studios free of charge for two weeks. [ more ]

Residencies
Tanztendenz is expanding its residency programme and would like to invite collaborators to continue work on their productions in the Tanztendenz rehearsal spaces [ more ]

International Choreographers' Atelier
Exchange and experimenting with national and international choreographers

International Network
Tanztendenz is the german partner in the international presenter network "Les [Nouveaux] Repérages". Their members send every two years representants of their country to the festival "Le Grand Bain". [ more ]
