 May 03 to May 04, 2025 / May 3, 8 pm / May 4, 6 pm Platform for the independent dance scene HIER=JETZT 2025 schwere reiter HIER = JETZT brings together as many dance professionals as possible in an open encounter in an "artist-for-artist initiative". It focuses on promoting piece development and offering a platform to professional choreographers who are working on a new production. From 21 April to 4 May 2025, the participants will be provided with studios free of charge at Tanztendenz e.V., Iwanson International and schwere reiter. Finally, the works will be presented on the schwere reiter stage on two admission-free "Open Space" evenings. Each performance evening will be followed by audience discussions between the participating artists and interested members of the audience. It is linked to a three-month work grant sponsored by the Norbert Janssen Foundation and coupled with a residency at Tanztendenz. This production will then be premiered as part of the next “HIER=JETZT 2026” at schwere reiter. HIER=JETZT 2025 has been presented as a format of Tanztendenz München e.V. since 2024, but continues to be led by the initiators Johanna Richter and Birgitta Trommler.
