Micha Purucker calls the two solos he has developed with Slovakian dancer Michal Heriban “dark angels”. They are based on a montage of questions and answers from interviews with deceased artists. The latest solo “es heisst, sie wohnen in kleinen hotels...” is based on material about the French writer Jean Genet and will be shown for the first time in mid-December. The person featured in “deviant answers - local time” from 2017 is anyone's guess. The logic of movement and dance undermines the supposed precision of language and its fixed descriptions. It is about approaching situations and people - the familiarity of the artists, their background and their works are the invisible framework of a choreographic journey between and behind the words. The word “ADOM” means red in Hebrew, which also echoes ADAM, the first man... In the duet “ADOM MODULATIONS” by Zufit Simon, two bodies strive to walk upright, stumble, stagger, have the fall into the bottomless pit before their eyes. The duet, which was created twelve years ago, has had over 30 guest performances at national and international festivals. It can now be seen in Munich with a new cast, a composition by Fredrik Olofsson and a new lighting design.
