December 04 to December 07, 2025 / THUR 8 pm / SAT 8.30 pm / SUN 6 pm, no performance on December 5 Stephanie Felber & Team Corpus Duplicis HochX
What happens when our own image confronts us – familiar and yet strange?
In "Corpus Duplicis", performer Ludger Lamers encounters his double: live on stage, projected, distorted and multiplied. Body and image enter into a play between closeness and distance, control and loss of control, reality and reflection.
The performance intertwines dance and live video technology to create a staging in which the body itself becomes a projection surface. Each movement summons a second image, familiar yet displaced. A space emerges in which the boundaries of the self begin to shift. When does recognition tip into the uncanny? And what happens when the copy starts to take on a life of its own?
"Corpus Duplicis" invites the audience to enter this dialogue with the figure of the double – at the threshold where the self gazes back at us as an other.
