"to create... to dive inside the imagination and swim in its conflicts ... to face its resolutions and express them in honesty and inspiration... to play with truth and fantasy, reality and absurdity .... to weave dynamic stories impacting an audience through their humanity and poetry ... to seek a raw and visceral movement language that serves discerning and often darkly comical expressions of life and humanity... to create ... to be"

Born in England, Caroline Finn attended the Art Educational School, Tring, before moving to New York where she attained a BFA degree from the Juiliard School. There, she studied Graham, Limòn, Taylor and Alexander techniques as well as Composition, Performance and Acting.
Caroline was a member of Ballet Theater Munich before joining Ballet Preljocaj in Aix-en-Provence and touring extensively with the company until 2009. She has worked closely with choreographers such as Ohad Naharin and Carolyn Carlson; most recently taking part in Carlson and Bartabas' new creation "We Were Horses" in 2011.
Alongside her professional dancing career, Caroline has continued to create her own works, successfully presenting them at theatres and festivals in New York, Berlin, Munich, Aix-en-Provence, Copenhagen, Zurich and Himeji, Japan.
Not only have some of these creations been danced by Ballet Theater Munich, Donlon Dance Company Saarbrücken, and Company DIEM in France, but in 2011 Caroline was also commissioned to create a new work "Sleeping Trout" for Tanz Luzerner Theater.
As the winner of the Production Prize at the Cross Connection Choreography Competition in Copenhagen 2010, she returned to Denmark the following year to create a new work.
As a teacher she has lead workshops in Munich, France, New York, San Francisco and Santa Barbara.
