HIER=JETZT is a platform founded in 2016 as an “artists-for-artists initiative” by Johanna Richter and Birgitta Trommler. Originally, HIER=JETZT took the form of a completely open programme featuring numerous workshops, courses and panel discussions. For the past two years, eight to ten young choreographers have been selected annually to spend two weeks without production and

the pressure to work on existing or new ideas. During this period, a rehearsal space will be available to them free of charge at the premises of schwere reiter, Tanztendenz and Iwanson International. The results of this creative collaboration will be presented at two concluding public and free “Open Space” evenings.
