Giving back the Blessings oscillates between a night out at a club, a folk ritual and an industrial landscape. Here, Vogue gestures, Slavic dance traditions and everyday movements intertwine to form a shared choreography without a centre. Sound precedes movement, becoming an equal participant that permeates and shapes the space. In the mist, the contours of the bodies are lost and the boundaries between performers and audience blur.

Everything is in flux – bodies, light, objects, sounds. Alina Belyagina’s dance performance creates a space between resistance, care and radical hope. The piece concludes with a Khorowod/Kolo, a communal circle dance that invites the audience to choose: to join in, to go over the top, or to remain on the sidelines. The legacy circulates as a shared, chaotic practice.
