Regie Ruth Golic: Sacred Dialogues – Klang der Religionen
What does religion sound like? And what connects people of different faiths? The interdisciplinary performance “Sacred Dialogues – Sounds of Religions” explores these questions. Ten international artists from Europe, the Middle East, West Africa, and South America engage with twenty religious and spiritual traditions and translate their symbolism and atmosphere into dance, music, theater, and visual projections.
Rather than explaining or judging religions, this approximately 95-minute stage performance offers a sensory exploration of spirituality, cultural diversity, and the human search for meaning. Brief introductions to the respective traditions are complemented by specially developed artistic interpretations that invite the audience to experience and reflect. Following the performance, there will be a Q&A session with the performers. The project is intended as an artistic contribution to interfaith dialogue, mutual respect, and social exchange.
