HEIMATKÖRPER is an intergenerational dance and performance project by Sascha Paar that explores identity, heritage and the sense of home. At its heart lies the encounter between two bodies and two life stories – shaped by different generations, life experiences and memories.

Through dance, performative imagery and multimedia elements, a poetic space is created in which personal stories, cultural influences and contemporary political realities converge. HEIMATKÖRPER explores where a sense of home is stored within the body – and what happens when that feeling shifts or is lost.
