Launched in 2021, the network with the Irish dance platform Tipperary is an international residency exchange programme designed to develop their work and invite them to Munich for a final showing, or to present their work processes as part of the Tipperary Dance International Festival.

The Irish scientist, dancer and choreographer Alexandre Iseli and the French-American dancer and choreographer Murielle Elizéon will be in residence at Tanztendenz from 4 to 16 May 2026. The residency is part of the exchange programme between Tipperary, Ireland, and Tanztendenz Munich. As part of the residency, there will also be a public performance. You can find further information about the performance here in the Tanzkalender.

About the current residency project:

Tremors evokes the forces of tectonic plates and the fragility of ageing bodies. The project seeks spontaneous joy and unexpected sensations, rejects commercialisation, and focuses on embodiment through reason and wild intuition – a magical realism that allows the world to be experienced intensely. In response to the accelerated passage of time that comes with age, attention is deepened to foster a gentle inner transformation. Here, dance emerges as a communal, mindful practice in which, through presence and listening, harmonies arise from opposing forces, and anger and tenderness come together in a single gesture.
